Your Happy Nest offers on call services for babysitters, household help or party help in Atlanta, Charleston and Charlotte! Let one of our professionals take things off your plate for as needed help. If you need help sporadically and don’t want to commit to a regular schedule, this is the service for you! Anything from running errands, household organization, meal prep, babysitting, or holiday party help, you name it and we probably have the perfect person for it!
Pricing
✓ Fill in Daytime or Nighttime Babysitter or Household Helper (local families): $30 per day.
✓ Special Event, Hotel and Vacation Sitters: $40 per sitter per day. We will consult you on the number of sitters needed based on how many children need care and their ages.
✓ Less than 48 hours notice: $10 rush fee
✓ Average hourly rate is $25-30+ per hour depending on the number of children, ages and location.

✓ Discounted services: We have an option to buy 5 booking credits and get one free! You can do so by logging into your dashboard and going to your profile. There will be the option to buy credits in your profile. Reach out if you have any questions!

Our sitters go through the same vetting process as our nanny candidates which includes an agency interview, 3 verified childcare references, social media/online screening, and a thorough background check.

Our network are all CPR/First Aid certified
1) New families fill out a Family Profile to get registered
2) Families who have previously registered would put in a sitter request on our website
3) Our team will start working on finding you someone that fits your needs
4) We will charge your card once we know have a sitter available
5) Once we have your sitter confirmed, we will email you their contact info and a brief bio
6) Connect with your sitter directly
7) Enjoy your night out or special event!

-All bookings must have a 4 hour minimum
-Pay for the sitter will go directly between you and the sitter via cash, venmo, check, etc
-All bookings are non-refundable once confirmed

The average rate for an experienced nanny is $25-$30+/hr depending on their experience level, certifications and credentials, number of children and job duties.

We start our process with an agency interview where we go over their experience, qualifications, and agency expectations.
All nannies must meet the minimum requirements:
Minimum of 3 years professional child care experience
CPR and First Aid certified
Able to legally work in the US
Valid US driver's license
Non-smoking
Minimum of 3 professional references
After being offered a position, our agency conducts a 7 year background search screening criminal, social security verification, driving record and sexual offenders registry.
We also do a full social media and google/online screening on each candidate.

Most families review between 2-4 profiles of candidates we have hand selected for your position. Our goal is to take the stress out of the process and narrow it down to just a few qualified candidates that meet your unique needs!

Yes, nannies and household managers are considered household employees and you are required to pay employer taxes and issue them with a w-2. Nannies are not independent contractors and should not get a 1099. We have payroll partners we are happy to connect you with!

Yes! We provide our clients with a sample contract template for them to use once you get to the hiring stage. We will help answer questions you may have while putting together the contract.
