Bayly Silverman
Owner + Founder
Bayly founded Your Happy Nest in 2012 while living in Atlanta, GA which has now expanded to also service her hometown of Charleston, SC and Charlotte, NC. As a mom to two daughters, she understands the importance of finding trustworthy, experienced and loving childcare for your children. Bayly has also worked previously as a nanny so it is important to her to support nannies professionally and advocate for fair wages, legal pay and good working conditions. Bayly has served the board of APNA (Association of Premiere Nanny Agencies) since 2021 and Your Happy Nest is a member of both APNA and INA (International Nanny Association). She enjoys giving back to the nanny agency community by speaking at conferences, on webinars and by mentoring newer agencies.
Bayly lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband, two daughters, chihuahua mix rescue pup Charm and tuxedo cat, Wendell. In her spare time can be found enjoying the beach, seeing live music, trying new restaurants and checking out local events around the lowcountry!
Kasie Bennett
Family Consultant
Kasie has been part of Your Happy Nest since its launch in 2012. She’s passionate about connecting families with exceptional nannies and finds great joy in helping to create strong, lasting partnerships that truly support both sides. With over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Kasie values the special bonds that form between families and nannies and feels honored to be part of that process. Kasie was the recipient of the 2024 GTM Agency Employee of the Year in as well as the 2025 APNA Staffing Employee of the Year.
Kasie lives in Tucker with her husband of 17 years, their three awesome kids, and their sweet pup, Sunny. When she’s not working, Kasie loves catching a local theatre performance or cheering from the sidelines at her kids’ soccer games, ballet recitals, and all the other activities that keep her family happily on the go.
Lauren Brewer
Lead Nanny Recruiter
Lauren heads up the nanny recruitment and vetting in our Atlanta office and uses her background in Elementary Education as well as her experience as a professional nanny, to help find the best caregivers in Atlanta! She has been studying and working in childcare related fields for over 10 years including as a Headstart teacher, professional full time nanny and camp counselor. Lauren does a wonderful job to provide a smooth process for nannies wanting to join the Your Happy Nest team and keeps communication open so nannies are fully involved in the placement process. Lauren is passionate about advocating for nannies and also organizes playdates for nannies as well as other social events to build a strong nanny community in Atlanta!
Lauren is originally from Angola, IN and now resides in Buford, GA with her husband, daughter and son. She loves being a mom and spending time with her family. On the weekends you can find them cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and Purdue Boilermakers or soaking up the sun on Lake Lanier.
Katie Davis
Family Consultant
Katie brings years of hands-on childcare experience (including being a mom herself!) and a deep understanding of family dynamics to her role at Your Happy Nest. Before joining the placement team, she worked as a professional nanny in Illinois, Charleston, South Carolina, and Augusta, Georgia. Katie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Special Events from Illinois State University , and her eye for detail and organization shines through in every nanny match she supports.
Katie’s journey with Your Happy Nest began when she worked as a nanny through the agency in Augusta, GA. Her professionalism, warmth, and intuition made her a standout caregiver, and when it came time to grow the team, it was clear she would be a perfect fit.
Katie currently lives in Illinois with her husband and their 6-year-old daughter. A fun and fact about Katie: she recently served as a surrogate for a family in Dallas, TX. It was fun to follow along on her surrogate journey and learn more about that process. In her free time, she enjoys painting, crafting, planning parties, exploring the outdoors, fishing, going to concerts, and finding new walking trails.
Leah Houck
Babysitting + Special Events Care Coordinator
Leah coordinates all of our babysitting and special event bookings for families in Atlanta, Charleston, and Charlotte—including both local families and those visiting these cities. With a deep understanding of our caregiver network and a strong rapport with our team of sitters, Leah is exceptional at finding the right fit for each family's unique needs.
Before joining Your Happy Nest, Leah spent over a decade as a professional nanny in Atlanta, Chicago, and Florida. Her firsthand experience in childcare gives her a thoughtful, intuitive approach to every placement she manages.
Originally from Calhoun, Georgia, Leah now lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota with her husband, daughter, and their playful puppy. She’s passionate about cooking and loves making healthy, flavorful meals at home, as well as exploring the local restaurant scene. A devoted Atlanta Braves fan, Leah proudly represents her home team no matter where she lives!
