Bayly Silverman
Owner + Founder
Bayly founded Your Happy Nest in 2012 while living in Atlanta, GA which has now expanded to also service her hometown of Charleston, SC and Charlotte, NC. As a mom to two daughters, she understands the importance of finding trustworthy, experienced and loving childcare for your children. Bayly has also worked previously as a nanny so it is important to her to support nannies professionally and advocate for fair wages, legal pay and good working conditions. Bayly serves on the board of APNA (Association of Premiere Nanny Agencies) and Your Happy Nest is a member of both APNA and INA (International Nanny Association). She enjoys giving back to the nanny agency community by speaking at conferences, on webinars and by mentoring newer agencies.
Bayly lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband and two daughters and in her spare time can be found enjoying the beach, traveling, trying new restaurants and enjoying local events around the lowcountry!
Kasie Bennett
Family Consultant
Kasie has been with Your Happy Nest since our launch in 2012. Kasie is passionate about helping families find a great nanny match and set them both up for a successful long-term working relationship! Her background in Early Childhood Education from her studies at Georgia State University and over fourteen years of experience in the childcare industry Kasie to understand what it takes to be a quality caregiver. In addition to over 10 years of experience as a professional nanny and household manager, Kasie has also served on the Board of Directors of a children’s theater and worked as a trainer and educator for preschool teachers. She understands the special relationship that can develop between a family and nanny and loves working with families to find a perfect fit.
Kasie is originally from Tupelo, MS but now lives in Tucker with her husband, 12 year old daughter and 10 year old boy/girl twins. Kasie loves to cook and enjoys hosting dinner parties for friends and family. She also loves taking advantage of all of the fun family activities that Atlanta has to offer such as Fernbank Museum, the Atlanta Zoo and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
Lauren Brewer
Lead Nanny Recruiter
Lauren heads up the nanny recruitment and vetting in our Atlanta office and uses her background in Elementary Education as well as her experience as a professional nanny, to help find the best caregivers in Atlanta! She has been studying and working in childcare related fields for over 10 years including as a Headstart teacher, professional full time nanny and camp counselor. Lauren does a wonderful job to provide a smooth process for nannies wanting to join the Your Happy Nest team and keeps communication open so nannies are fully involved in the placement process. Lauren is passionate about advocating for nannies and also organizes playdates for nannies as well as other social events to build a strong nanny community in Atlanta!
Lauren is originally from Angola, IN and now resides in Buford with her husband and 6 year old daughter and 4 year old son. She loves being a mom and spending time with her family. On the weekends you can find them cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and Purdue Boilermakers or soaking up the sun on Lake Lanier.
Katie Davis
Family Consultant
Prior to working with Your Happy Nest, Katie was a professional nanny in Illinois, Charleston, South Carolina, and Augusta, Georgia. Katie graduated from Illinois State University in 2016 with a Bachelors Degree in Special Events. She found her passion for children when she interned for the Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission as their Campground Program Developer and began nannying shortly after her internship ended. Your Happy Nest worked with Katie as a nanny in Augusta and when it was time to add someone new to our team, we knew she would be a great addition!
Katie lives in Illinois with her 5 year old daughter and husband! A cool fact about Katie is she was recently a surrogate for a family in Dallas, TX. It was so fun to follow along on her surrogate journey and we learned so much about that process! Katie enjoys painting, crafting and party planning in her spare time.
Leah Houck
Babysitting + Special Events Care Coordinator
Leah manages all babysitting and special event sitter bookings for local families as well as for guests visiting Atlanta, Charleston and Charlotte. Leah has developed a strong team of caregivers and knows our network of sitters well so she is wonderful at matching you with the best sitter to fit your family's needs! Prior to working with Your Happy Nest, Leah was a professional nanny for over 10 years in Atlanta, Chicago and Florida.
Leah is from Calhoun, Georgia but currently lives in Saint Paul, MN with her husband, 9 year old daughter and puppy! Leah is passionate about good food and loves cooking healthy and delicious meals for her family as well as trying out all of the wonderful restaurants around town. She is an avid Atlanta Braves fan as well!
