Full time/Live Out/Downtown Charleston
Family downtown Charleston with one 13 month old boy is looking for a full time nanny to become part of their family. They are a fun and laid back parents who own their own business and need someone to be somewhat flexible with schedule. They do also travel for their business every other month or so and will either bring their nanny with them on trips or have the nanny stay with their son overnight at home. Some international travel is also needed so this is a great position for a nanny who likes to travel! Schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10-5 and Tuesday and Thursday 8-5 with some flexibility to stay late if needed. Their son goes to part time preschool three mornings per week and during this time they would like the nanny to help out with tidying up around the house, helping with laundry, keeping the baby's room organized and running an occasional errand such as grocery shopping. They are looking for someone active and engaging who can take him on outings around town such as parks, aquarium, story time, children's museum, etc. They are offering 35 guaranteed hours per week but many weeks will be closer to 40 or more as well as paid vacation, holidays and sick days. Family has two friendly cats. 

Full time/Live Out/Ravenel
Family in Ravenel with a 6 year old girl and 2 year old boy are looking for a nanny 32 hours per week. Schedule would rotate every other week and week 1 would be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7am-6pm and week 2 would be Monday and Tuesday 7 am to 6 pm and Wednesday 8 am to 5 pm. It averages out to approximately 32 hours per week but if the nanny went over 32 hours, they would pay hourly. They are looking for someone who can be with their family for the next two years but the nanny would need to be able to make a one year commitment minimum. They are looking for someone active and fun who can take their 2 year old on outings while their 6 year old is in school. They live on 15 acres of land so they are looking for someone who loves to be outdoors! The 6 year old will need to be picked up from school at 3:15 each day. They are looking for someone who can work as a team with the parents and can be patient and loving but also establish boundaries and discipline when needed. A car would be provided most days to transport children but nanny would need to have her own transportation in case their car wasn't available. Family has two cats. Position begins as soon as the right person is found. 

Part time/Live Out/Mount Pleasant
Family in Mount Pleasant with three children ages 10, 7 and 2 needs a part time after school nanny to start ASAP. The main responsibility of the nanny is picking the children up from school and preschool and bringing them home or to after school activities and helping with homework. They have a live in nanny/house manager who handles all of the cooking and cleaning so this position is mainly for driving the children and being responsible for them after school. They are offering 15-20 hours per week and schedule would be 3:30- 6:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 2:45-6:30 Thursday and Friday. There will be opportunity for additional hours if the nanny is willing to stay later and help with homework. The nanny will need her own car to pick kids up from school and drive them to activities but they will be offering a weekly gas allowance. Looking for someone who can give a minimum one year commitment, who is very responsible and can handle situations as they arise. Both parents work long hours and have jobs where they can't always answer the phone, so the nanny needs to be able to make decisions and handle things if something should arise. Family has no pets. 

Full time/Live Out/James Island
Family on James Island (Riverland Terrace) is in search of a full time nanny for their infant and 3 year old girls. Hours would be 7:30-4:30/5 M-F. Some driving is required bringing their 3 year old to and from preschool on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and outings around town. They are looking for someone organized, proactive that doesn't mind pitching in with light housework, willing to do occasional trips to the grocery store and active. They do very little screen time and eat healthy, so they are looking for a nanny who supports those choices. They are guaranteeing 40 hours per week and offering paid vacation/sick days/holidays. They would prefer someone who could do occasional overnights or travel with them on occasion but that is not a deal breaker. The father does travel for his job a good bit but when he isn't traveling he will be home so the nanny will need to be comfortable with a parent at home some during the day.  Position begins mid-October or possibly sooner for the right person. 

Part time/Live Out/Downtown Charleston
Family in downtown Charleston is looking for a part time afternoon nanny/Mother's Helper for their 3.5 year old boy. Schedule is MWF 12:30-5 and T/Th 2:30-5 to total approximately 20 hours per week. Spanish or French speaking is highly preferred but not a necessity. Looking for someone who is active, creative, has a positive attitude and will take their son on outings to the park, aquarium, playdates, etc. Looking for someone open minded. Family practices RIE method of discipline and doesn't do screen time so they are looking for someone who is willing to follow and learn about that style of discipline. Light housework is needed pertaining to their son and helping the house run smoothly. Someone who likes to cook and would be willing to do some meal preparation for the family would be a huge bonus. Mom is a stay at home mom so she will be in and out during the day. Family has one cat. Position begins as soon as the right person is found. 

Full time/Live Out/West Ashley
Family in Charleston is in search of a loving, career nanny who is interested in child development for their one year old twins. They would love someone active and engaging who can take them on outings as they get older. Looking for a long term nanny who can commit to one year minimum with their family and can become like part of the family. They are guaranteeing 35 hours per week but there is potential for more hours most weeks. Some travel for weekend trips and possibly an international trip in the future. Family has one dog but no additional pet care is required. Position will be filled when the right person is found.
