A Nanny is responsible for all childcare related duties such as planning age appropriate activities and outings, meal prep, driving to activities, and providing a safe and caring environment for your children. Nannies will also assist with light housekeeping duties that pertain to the child or common family areas.

Average nanny rate is $25-35 per hour depending on job factors such as the nanny's experience level, number of children, household duties etc.

  • Our process typically takes 4-8 weeks from start to finish. The process can sometimes be shorter or longer depending on your position details, schedule, pay range and our current candidate pool.

  • The average rate for an experienced nanny is $25-$30+/hr depending on their experience level, certifications and credentials, number of children and job duties.

  • We start our process with an agency interview where we go over their experience, qualifications, and agency expectations.

    All nannies must meet the minimum requirements:

    Minimum of 3 years professional child care experience

    CPR and First Aid certified

    Able to legally work in the US

    Valid US driver's license

    Non-smoking

    Minimum of 3 professional references

    After being offered a position, our agency conducts a 7 year background search screening criminal, social security verification, driving record and sexual offenders registry.

    We also do a full social media and google/online screening on each candidate.

  • Most families review between 2-4 profiles of candidates we have hand selected for your position. Our goal is to take the stress out of the process and narrow it down to just a few qualified candidates that meet your unique needs!

  • Most nannies are seeking a position that offers:

    -Paid vacation

    -Paid holidays

    -Paid sick days

    -Guaranteed hours (we can give you more information on how this works)

    -Some nannies are seeking health insurance coverage or a stipend

  • We use a variety of resources to connect with new nannies, including but not limited to: referrals, our online job board, local nanny events, nanny conferences, online nanny groups, social media and local job fairs and events.

  • Yes, nannies and household managers are considered household employees and you are required to pay employer taxes and issue them with a w-2. Nannies are not independent contractors and should not get a 1099. We have payroll partners we are happy to connect you with!

  • Yes! We provide our clients with a sample contract template for them to use once you get to the hiring stage. We will help answer questions you may have while putting together the contract.
