teaTeddy Bear Tea at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center.  On Sunday December 7th and 14th guest will enjoy tea, hot cocoa, sandwiches, and charming desserts.  Santa will be there to deliver gift bags to all the children.

skate 3.11.26 PMCentennial Olympic Park’s Ice Rink.  Enjoy a 90-minute skate session with the Atlanta skyline as your background setting.  Open now through January 19th.

paradeChildren’s Christmas Parade.  Beginning at 10:30am on Saturday, December 6th the Children’s Christmas Parade will step off at Peachtree St. and 16th St. and end at Peachtree St. and 5th St.  Watch as Midtown Atlanta transforms into Santa Claus Lane with the sights and sounds of the season.

fantasyFantasy In Lights.  Callaway Gardens’ is not only the South’s most spectacular holiday light and sound show, it is one of the world’s “Top 10 Places to See Holiday Lights,” as named by National Geographic Traveler.

HolidaySEAsonHeader442x198Festival of the SEAson.  A month-long celebration of the holidays, transforms the Georgia Aquarium galleries and exhibits into a winter wonderland- incorporating a spectacular light and music show, appearances by Santa and Scuba Claus, the return of the Weeki Wachee Mermaids and a holiday edition of their live entertainment experience.  Open now through December 25th.

DSC_8424Garden Lights at the Atlanta Botanical Garden.  The fourth annual electrical extravaganza features spectacular light displays throughout the Garden.  Favorties such as the Orchestral Orbs, Glittering Galaxy, Radiant Rainforest, and Model Trains  continue to make the exhibitions a must-see holiday tradition.  Open now through January 3rd.

deerReindeer Day at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.  Live reindeer join the other animals to help you get in the holiday spirit.  Bring a picnic and plan to enjoy a full day of fun activities.  Open December 14th, 1pm-4pm.

rudolph_CPARudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at Center For Puppetry Arts.  Rudolph soars back into town for this faithful adaptation of the wonderful holiday tradition that speaks to the misfits in all of us. Based on the beloved 1964 animated special, Rudolph and his friends take the stage.  Open now through December 28th.

skateSkate Atlantic Station.  Skate the 10,000 square-foot, open-air ice-skating rink.  Dazzling lights and holiday décor will have skaters dreaming of a white Christmas.  Open now through February 15th.

snowSnow Mountain at Stone Mountain Park.  Spend a fun-filled day playing across five football fields of  frosty joy.  Zoom down 400-foot hill all together in family sized tubes, or go down alone in a single rider.

UnknownThe Pink Pig.  Over fifty years ago, a beloved tradition was born in Atlanta- the Pink Pig.  Hop on board and ride Priscilla the Pink Pig on top of the Lenox Square Mall.  A portion of the proceeds benefits Children’s Health Care of Atlanta.  Open now through January 4th.
